Verfahren zur Herstellung ilung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes.
Oxylignin bzw.

30 g Oxylignin bzw. Oxylignon,
100 g Schwefelnatrium, 35 y Schwefetblumen,

Process for the production of a sulfur dye.
Oxylignin and oxylignon are produced by splitting off the sulfonic acid groups in lignosulfonic acid or Hgnonsulfonic acid salts, for example by melting with alkali.
The present invention relates to a process for the production of a sulfur dye from oxylignin or oxylignon. The procedure is that oxy-

Production of sulfur-containing substances is heated to suitable sulfur-containing substances. One can proceed in the following way:
30 g oxylignin or oxylignon,
100 g sulfur sodium, 35 y sulfur flowers,
100 9 water are mixed together and heated, the temperature being maintained at 110 to 1150 true 20 minutes. The resulting mass is dissolved in water and the solution is acidified, e.g. B. hydrochloric acid, made acidic, since the dye falls out like a grayish black or grayish precipitate, which is separated from the solution, washed and dried.
The sulfur dye in question is used for coloring in the same way as ordinary sulfur dyes; H. dissolved in a warm solution of allta) isulphide.
The above-mentioned mass obtained on heating can also be used directly for coloring.
