In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer zur Ausführung des Giessverfahrens unter Verwendung der erfundenen Überzugsmasse dienenden Form dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt einen lotrechten Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht.
Die gusseiserne Mantelform besteht aus zwei Oberteilen, und einem Unterteil b und hat eine Kernmarkenführung c eingesetzt, in welche die Kernmarke d des Kernes e genau passt. Dieser letztere ist aus Stahl verfertigt und hohl. Am oberen Ende der Seele f ist ein Gewinde g vorgesehen, in welches nach dem Giessen zum Herausziehen des Kernes ein Zugstange eingeschraubt werden kann. Der Kern ist aussen und auf der Grundfläche der Kernmarke mit der f berzugsmasse h betrichen.
Ein in die Form oben eingesetzter Zentrierungsring i stützt mit vier Nasen j den Kern gegen seitliche Lagenveränderungen. Durch die Öffnungen k zwischen den Nasen j wird das Metall mittels eines Trichters, der hinreichend Luftabzug gewährt, in vier Strahlen eingegossen.
Ein Deckel 1 dient zum Schütze der eelenmÜnduJ1g.

The cast iron shell mold consists of two upper parts and a lower part b and has a core mark guide c inserted into which the core mark d of the core e fits exactly. The latter is made of steel and is hollow. At the upper end of the core f, a thread g is provided, into which a pull rod can be screwed after casting to pull out the core. The core is covered on the outside and on the base of the core mark with the coating mass h.
A centering ring i inserted into the shape above supports the core with four noses j against lateral changes in position. The metal is poured into four jets through the openings k between the noses j by means of a funnel which allows sufficient air to be extracted.
