Verfahren zur Erzielung seidenartigen Aussehens von Flächen.
Die Erfindung bezweckt, auf Wänden, Decken, Türen, Möbeln u. dgl. einzelnen Flächen seidenartiges Aussehen bei beliebiger Farbe zu geben.
Der Erfindung gemäss werden die betreffenden Flächen zuerst gründlich gereinigt und dann mit einer Ölfarbe bestrichen oder bedruckt. Nach neuerlichem Abreiben macht man dann einen zweiten Ölfarbenanstrich. Sobald dieser trocken ist, wird ein guter Lack mit Zinkweiss vermengt und in der gewünschten Farbe auf die Fläche aufgetragen. Nach zwei Tagen befeuchtet man den Lackanstrich mit Wasser und reibt ihn mit gepulvertem Bimsstein mittols weicher Filzlappen 80 lange bis die Fläche einen gleichmässigen matten Glanz zeigt. Mittels einer geeigneten Bürste, deren Borsten etwa. 2 OH lang sind, worden die abgeschliffenen Flächen dann andauern immer in der gleichen Richtung gebürstet.
Zu dieser Arbeit wird die Bürste vorher etwas befeuchtet und mit etwas Kernseife oder gutem Saponin eingerieben. Durch dieses Verfahren erzielt man auf der betreffenden Fläche seidenartiges Aussehen. Will man auf der Fiache irgend ein Muster zur Erscheinung bringen, so legt man Patronen darüber und bürstet ilbei diese Patronen in einer anderen Richtung. Man kann auch nacheinander mehrere Patronen in Anwendung bringen und über jede Patrone in einem anderen Sinne bürsten, wodurch, insbesondere bei elektrischer Beleuchtung, zahlreiche Farbentöne in Erscheinung gebracht werden.
