Geschoss.

Bullet.
The invention relates to a projectile which, in contrast to the previous projectiles, is centered in the tube without the air resistance being increased during flight by a surface perpendicular to the flight path, such as those presented by the end surfaces of the centering rings or beads.
For this purpose, the projectile, as can be seen, for example, from the drawing in Fig. 1 in view, in Fig. 2 in plan view and in Fig. 3 in the vertical middle section, is provided with any number of centering webs a at the points of the usual centering 8b nderoderwülstc , which are preferably designed like a pyramid. These centering bars can be worked out from the solid or from a drawn metal band. The tip of these webs is directed forward, the side surfaces are concave and their winding is slightly more oblique than that of the twist. On their lower part, which protrudes farthest from the area around the joint, the bars are so strong that they rest against the fields in the tube.
The projectiles provided with such central webs are able to overcome the air resistance with far less loss of speed than the known projectiles, so that a
