Claim 3: A method of providing nutrients and pathogen protection to a plant, comprising administering nutrients to a plant, plant part, or soil around the plant or plant part, wherein the plant, plant part, or soil around the plant or plant part receives or received nutrients (e.g., by administration to the plant, plant part, or soil around the plant or plant part). Claim 16: A composition comprising one or more ascarosides and one or more plant nutrients.
