Abstract

Método de producir unidades de trasplante de caña de azúcar, que incluye plantar materiales de propagación de caña de azúcar en un medio de plantación sin segregar para producir una planta de caña de azúcar, en donde la siembra de los materiales de propagación de la caña de azúcar de como resultado una densidad de plantas emergidas de 25 a 200 plantas por metro cuadrado; dejar crecer la planta hasta una edad de al menos 4 meses; cosechar los pedúnculos de la planta de caña de azúcar cuando los pedúnculos tengan una longitud de 10 a 100 centímetros; cortar los pedúnculos cosechados en segmentos de pedúnculo, en donde los segmentos de pedúnculo se cortan a una longitud de 1 a 5 centímetros; y plantar uno o más de los segmentos de pedúnculo en un recipiente de plantación que tiene un volumen de 10 a 200 centímetros cúbicos.
