Abstract
Un método de tratamiento de un sustrato de piel de animal que comprende: agitar el sustrato de piel animal con un material sólido particulado y un licor de tratamiento: separar el sustrato de piel animal del sustrato que comprende el material particulado sólido, el licor de tratamiento y los fragmentos de sólidos de desecho derivados del sustrato; transferir el efluente a un primer separador, estando el primer separador configurado para permitir que el licor de tratamiento y al menos una porción de los fragmentos de desecho sólidos pasen a través del primer separador pero impedir que el material sólido particulado pase a través del primer separador, y proveer una primera corriente de filtrado que comprende el licor de tratamiento y fragmentos sólidos de desecho y un primer residuo que comprende el material sólido particulado y fragmentos de sólidos de desecho residuales; tratar dicho primer residuo para eliminar dichos fragmentos sólidos de desecho y obtener un material sólido particulado limpio, donde dicho tratamiento de dicho primer residuo comprende retener dicho material sólido particulado sobre una superficie de un separador de tratamiento durante dicho tratamiento, estando el separador de tratamiento configurado para permitir que el líquido y los fragmentos sólidos de desecho lo atraviesen pero impedir que el material sólido particulado lo haga; y (i) direccionar una formulación de limpieza hacia dicho material sólido particulado para obtener una segunda corriente de filtrado que comprende dicha formulación de limpieza y dichos fragmentos de material sólido de desecho y un segundo residuo que comprende el material sólido particulado limpio; y/o (ii) agitar el separador de tratamiento.
