Abstract

Una composición microbicida sinergística que comprende: (a) 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona; y (b) dimetilol-dimetilhidantoína o tris(hidroximetil)nitrometano; en donde una relación en peso de dimetilol-dimetilhidantoína a 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona es de 20:1 a 1:6,4 y una relación en peso de tris(hidroximetil)nitrometano a 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona es de 150:1 a 1:6,4. Reivindicación 1: Una composición microbicida sinergística que comprende: (a) 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona; y (b) dimetilol-dimetilhidantoína o tris(hidroximetil)nitrometano; en donde una relación en peso de dimetilol-dimetilhidantoína a 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona es de 20:1 a 1:6,4 y una relación en peso de tris(hidroximetil)nitrometano a 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona es de 150:1 a 1:6,4. Reivindicación 6: Un método para inhibir el crecimiento microbiano en un medio agregando al medio una composición sinergística que comprende: (a) 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona; y (b) dimetilol-dimetilhidantoina o tris(hidroximetil)nitrometano; en donde una relación en peso de dimetilol-dimetilhidantoína a 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona es de 20:1 a 1:6,4 y una relación en peso de tris(hidroximetil)nitrometano a 3,5-dimetil-1,3,5-tiadiazinano-2-tiona es de 150:1 a 1:6,4.
