Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Una pasta dental caracterizada porque comprende un sistema aglutinador y un abrasivo de sal de calcio, en donde el sistema aglutinador comprende alginato de sodio y calcio que tiene una proporción de sodio:calcio de 7:1 a 4:1. Reivindicación 3: La pasta dental de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes, caracterizada porque el abrasivo comprende carbonato de calcio en una cantidad desde 25% a 60% en peso de la pasta dental. Reivindicación 14: La pasta dental de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque comprende: un sistema aglutinante que comprende alginato de sodio y calcio que tiene una proporción de sodio:calcio de aproximadamente 84:16, y el cual está presente en la pasta dental en una cantidad de aproximadamente 0.1% en peso de la pasta dental; abrasivo de carbonato de calcio natural, en una cantidad de aproximadamente 42% en peso de la pasta dental; carboximetil celulosa en una cantidad de aproximadamente 1% en peso de la pasta dental; sorbitol en una cantidad de aproximadamente 21% en peso de la pasta dental; lauril sulfato de sodio en una cantidad de aproximadamente 2% en peso de la pasta dental; una fuente de fluoruro, en una cantidad para proporcionar aproximadamente 1100 ppm en peso de ión fluoruro; y sílice espesante en una cantidad de aproximadamente 2% en peso de la pasta dental. Reivindicación 16: Un método para reducir el crecimiento bacteriano, limpiar los dientes, remover la placa dental, reducir la erosión dental, tratar la hipersensibilidad dental, tratar la gingivitis, y/o reducir la caries dental en una cavidad oral, caracterizado porque comprende poner en contacto la cavidad oral con una pasta dental de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes.
