Abstract

Un método para el control de la plaga Sesamia inferens, que comprende el paso de poner en contacto Sesamia inferens con la proteína Cry1B. Sesamia inferens es controlado por la proteína Cry1B que tiene actividad plaguicida contra Sesamia inferens, la cual es producida en plantas. En comparación con el control agrícola, el control químico y el control biológico actualmente usados en el arte previo, la presente solicitud puede proteger la planta completa durante el periodo de crecimiento del daño por Sesamia inferens. Adicionalmente, no provoca polución ni residuo y provee un efecto de control estable y duradero. Además la misma es simple, conveniente y económica.
