Un compuesto de éster representado por la fórmula (1) en donde R¹ representa átomo de hidrógeno, átomo de halógeno, grupo metilo, grupo metoxi o grupo metoximetilo; R² representa un grupo alquilo C₁₋₃; y una configuración relativa entre el sustituyente en la posición 1 del anillo de ciclopropano y el sustituyente en la posición del anillo de ciclopropano es una configuración trans, posee un efecto excelente de control de pestes.
