Abstract

El procedimiento para reducir acetaldehído residual de partículas de polímero de poliéster comprende introducir partículas de polímero de poliéster a una temperatura de 130ºC a 195ºC y que contienen acetaldehído residual dentro de un recipiente para formar un lecho de partículas dentro del recipiente, hacer fluir un gas a través de por lo menos una porción del lecho de partículas, y retirar las partículas terminadas del recipiente que tienen una cantidad reducida de acetaldehído residual y una V lt. de por lo menos 0,70 dl/g, donde dicho gas es introducido en dicho recipiente a una temperatura de 70ºC o menor.
