Abstract
Loci de ADN de maíz polimorfico que son utiles para genotipificar entre por lo menos dos variedades de maíz. Las secuencias de los loci son utiles para disenar cebadores y sondas oligonucluotídicas para detectar polimorfismos de ADN de maíz. Los polimorfismos son utiles para genotipificar aplicaciones en el maíz. Los marcadores polimorficos son utiles para establecer asociaciones de marcador/rasgo, por ejemplo, en estudios de mapeo de ligacion de desequilibrio y asociacion, clonacion posicional y aplicaciones transgénicas, cría auxiliada por marcador y seleccion auxiliada por marcador, prediccion de híbridos e identificacion mediante estudios de descendencia. los marcadores polimorficos son también utiles para el mapeo de clones de genotecas de ADN, por ejemplo, para QTLs de maíz y genes ligados a polimorfismos.
