Se describen procesos para preparar y purificar lamotrigina, incluso hidrato de lamotrigina, monohidrato de lamotrigina y lamotrigina anhidra. Reivindicacion 1: Un proceso para preparar lamotrigina y compuestos relacionados caracterizado porque comprende llevar a cabo una ciclizacion no inducida por bases de 2-(2,3-diclorofenil)-2-guanidiniliminoacetonitrilo.
