Abstract
Se divulgan un método y aparato para soportar un acceso aleatorio utilizando un canal de acceso aleatorio (RACH). Cada una de la pluralidad de las unidades de transmision/recepcion inalámbrica (WTRU) envía una peticion de acceso aleatorio a una estacion base en un preámbulo RACH con enlace ascendente. Una Respuesta RACH, enviada por la estacion base, es recibida por cada WTRU. Una porcion de la senal de control de la Respuesta RACH indica la locacion de la porcion del mensaje de la Respuesta RACH. La senal de control de la Respuesta RACH comprende multiples elementos de canal de control (CCE), donde a cada WTRU se le asigna un CCE respectivo para proporcionar su senal de control de Respuesta RACH unica, la WTRU está configurada para localizar su CCE proyectado desde entre los multiples CCE enviados por la estacion base.
