Abstract

En el campo de la biología molecular, un método para mejorar rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento en plantas mediante la modulacion de la expresion en una planta de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido NITR (nitritorreductasa) o un polipéptido ASNS (asparagina sintetasa). También, plantas que tienen expresion modulada de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido NITR o un polipéptido ASNS, en donde las plantas tienen rasgos mejorados relacionados con el rendimiento respecto de plantas de control. Además construcciones que comprenden ácidos nucleicos codificadores de NITR o ácidos nucleicos codificadores de ASNS utiles para realizar los métodos.
