Abstract

Un barco que incluye un catamarán de carga pesada, una o varias plataformas flotantes moviles que se deslizan y bajan; un medio de movimiento para la variacion de calado en aguas muy profundas de modo que la o las plataformas puedan ser elevadas o bajadas entre los cascos por lo que cambia de modo selectivo la flotacion del barco. En la posicion superior, el barco es un catamarán de mar de aguas profundas, en una posicion intermedia la plataforma o las plataformas son flotantes y se forma un canal entre el fondo de la plataforma y las quillas del catamarán, en la posicion baja, la parte inferior de la plataforma y el catamarán son niveladas en la quilla convirtiendo el catamarán en una embarcacion de aguas pocos profundas, en la posicion más baja, el catamarán es elevado por encima del agua para la faena de amarrarse en el muelle.
