Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de polietileno con distribución de masa molecular multimodal, que es particularmente adecuada para el moldeo por soplado de tambores de anillo L que tienen un volumen en el orden de desde 50 a 250 dm3 (i). La composición tiene una densidad en el orden desde 0,950 a 0,956 g/dm3 a 23°C y un MFR190/21,6 en el orden de desde 1,5 a3,5 dg/min. La misma comprende de 35 a 45% en peso de un homopolímero de etileno A de masa molecular baja, de 34 a 44% en peso de un copolímero B de masa molecular elevada fabricado a partir de etileno y de otra 1-olefina que tiene de 4 a 8 átomos de carbono, y de 18 a 26% en peso de un copolímero C de etileno de masa molecular ultraelevada. Reivindicación 6: Un proceso para la producción de una composición de polietileno de acuerdo con una o más de las reivindicaciones 1 5, en el cual los monómeros son polimerizados en suspensión en un intervalo de temperatura de desde 60 a 90°C, a una presión en el orden de desde 0,15 a 1,0 Mpa, y en presencia de un catalizador de Ziegler de alto rendimiento consistente en un compuesto de metal de transición y en un compuesto de organoaluminio, que comprende realizar la polimerización en tres etapas, en donde la masa molecular de capa polietileno preparado en cada etapa es regulada con la ayuda de hidrógeno.
