Abstract

La presente se refiere a un sistema de tornillo y clavo (1) para mejorar la fijación de fracturas proximales del húmero, incluyendo al menos un clavo humeral (10) así insertado en un eje humeral (9) y que comprende al menos un orificio transversal proximal (5) para el pasaje de un tornillo de traba correspondiente (3), el tornillo (3) presenta una cabeza de tornillo (4) y un cuerpo de tornillo (31), ventajosamente, el clavo es acanalado y el orificio transversal (5) comprende un par de orificios opuestos (6', 6'') en paredes opuestas del clavo acanalado (10); el orificio (6') está más cerca de la cabeza de tornillo (4) tiene una porción roscada parcialmente interna (28) y el tornillo correspondiente (3) tiene un diámetro de rosca exterior más pequeña que el diámetro de dicho al menos un orificio transversal (27) que recibe al tornillo. La porción roscada parcialmente (28) trabaja como una porción de tornillo tuerca pero no interfiere con el tornillo durante la inserción normal. En caso de un movimiento no deseado o desplazamiento del tornillo (3) luego de su ajuste final o durante su uso, la porción de roscada (28) soluciona el problema de acoplamiento de la porción roscada del tornillo (3) al menos en una manera de cresta a cresta.
