Formas de dosificación farmacéuticas orales de liberación controlada (abreviadamente LC) de 5, 8, 14-triazatetra-ciclo [10.3.1.0 2,11.04,9 ]-hexadeca-2(11), 3, 5, 7, 9-pentaeno, véase 1, y a las sales farmacéuticamente aceptables del mismo, y procedimientos en los que se usan para reducir la adicción a la nicotina o ayudar en el cese o reducción del uso del tabaco en tanto que reducen las náuseas como efecto adverso.
