Abstract
Un método de oxidación a presión de un material mineral, disposición para oxidar a presión mediante el método, un reactor químico para utilizar la disposición, un método para dispersar un material en un medio que puede fluir y un método para mezclar varios componentes. El método incluye el paso de introducir un material mineral en partículas dentro de un reactor, para que dentro del mismo, el material mineral este en su suspensión con un líquido. Un gas oxígeno es también introducido en el reactor para entrar en contacto con la suspensión y oxidar al menos una porción del mineral de sulfuro para liberar el metal valioso del mineral de sulfuro. La suspensión es agitada en el reactor sumergiendo y expulsando desde una cavidad del agitador rotativo al menos porciones de la suspensión y el gas oxígeno para reciclar la suspensión y el gas oxígeno a través de la cavidad con una acción de bombeo. El agitador comprende uno o más alabes con una porción que se extiende fuera de la cavidad para contactar la suspensión fuera de la misma cuando el agitador comienza a girar. Mejora la eficiencia del uso del gas oxígeno. El uso de un agitador promueve la dispersión mejorada del gas oxígeno a través de la suspensión y la disolución del gas oxígeno dentro de la suspensión para la reacción con los minerales de sulfuro. La disposición comprende: Una suspensión de alimentación con por lo menos un líquido acuoso y un material mineral en forma de partículas en asociación con al menos un mineral de sulfuro; Un reactor químico que comprende: Un recipiente a presión con por lo menos una primera admisión, una segunda admisión y una primera boca de salida y Una bomba agitadora rotativa dispuesta dentro del recipiente bajo presión y que comprende un eje motriz y un par de particiones separadas verticalmente; Un dispositivo de suministro de oxígeno.
