Abstract
Un recipiente metalurgico (1) con un dispositivo de colada (5) para la extraccion controlada, libre de escoria de metal líquido (3), segun el principio delsifon para líquidos, de un bano de metal fundido que se encuentra en el recipiente (1),estando el recipiente conformado de modo que un primer brazo (11) de untubo de descarga (10), conformado en la forma de una U o V invertida, atraviesa la pared refractaria (15) del recipiente, y un borde de rebalse (14) que seencuentra en la zona deunion d e los dos brazos (11, 12) del tubo de descarga (10) se encuentra en una posicion más alta que el borde superior (18) de laabertura de entrada (17) del tubo de descarga. La masa fundida (3) en el tubo de descarga (10) preferentemente puedeser calenta da por induccion. Se relatatambién sobre un procedimiento para la extraccion de metal líquido que se encuentra sobre el recipiente y que consiste en: Después de un proceso de colada,cerrar la abertura de salida del tubo de descarga,elevar el nivel d el bano en el recipiente de fusion hasta una altura de colada y después cerrar una válvulade ventilacion que se encuentra en una bifurcacion de la zona de union de los dos brazos, iniciar el proceso de colada abriendo eldispositivo de cierre delsegu ndo brazo y descargando una cantidad residual del proceso de colada anterior que quedo en el segundo brazo y/o una cantidad de rebalse de la masa metálicafundida en la zona de union de los dos brazos, con lo cual esarrastrada masa metálica fundida a dicional que se encuentra en el primer brazo y en elrecipiente.
