Abstract
Se refiere a un procedimiento de fabricacion de una banda apta para la fabricacion de cuerpos de latas de bebidas, que incluye: la elaboracion de unaaleacion de aluminio que contiene (en peso) de 1,1 a 1,7% de Mg, de 1,2 a 1,6% de Mn, de 0,05 a 0,45% de Si, de 0,05 a 0,60% de Fe, hasta 0,40% de Cu, hasta0,14% de Cr, hasta 0,08% de Ti, otros elementos hasta 0,07% cada uno y para un totoal de 0,25% resto aluminio, el tratamiento de esta aleacion líquida porinyeccion de gas (preferentemente argon), la colada entre cilindros de una banda con un espesor inferior a 5mm y preferentemetne inferior a 4 mm, durante laque se aplica un revestimiento sobre los cilindros, la homogeneizacion de la banda entre 450 y 530sC para una duracion comprendida entr e 2 y 20 horas, ellaminado en frío de la banda en varias pasadas, un recocido intermedio entre 300 y 400sC durante 1 a 12 horas, el laminado en frío en una o varias pasadashasta el espesor final. El procedimiento permite obtener bandas aptas para la fabricacion de cuerpos de latas que presentan una resistencia mejorada a laperforacion de la pared lateral.
