Abstract
Se produce un acero intemperado de alto rendimiento que tiene un límite elástico mínimo de 482,3-516,75 MPa y una relacion de límite elástico aresistencia a la traccion inferior a aproximadamente 85, a partir de una composicion de acero que consiste esencialmente en los siguientesporcentajes aproximados por peso: 0,08-0,12% de carbono, 0,80%-1,35% de manganeso, 0,0-0,65% de silicio, 0,08-025% de molibdeno, 0,06-0,14% devanadio, 0,20-0,40% de cobre, 0,50% mex. de níquel, 0,40-0,70% de cromo y hierro hasta completar, excepto impurezas ocasionales; calentando el aceroa temperatura de laminado en caliente, laminando el acero a un espesor de aproximadamente 2 veces el espesor definitivo deseado, enfriando al aire elacero a una temperatura de aproximadamente 982-1010°C, laminando con control de recristalizacion el acero con laminado de terminacion a una temperaturade aproximadamente 926-954°C, luego enfriando con agua el acero a aproximadamente482-648°C y luego enfriando al aire el acero a temperaturaambiente para producir secciones de hasta 27,43 m. o más, sin tratamiento térmico ulterior.
