Abstract

The compositions of the present invention have a pH of about 3.0 to 6.0; wherein the antimicrobial cleaning composition that is removed by rinsing additionally has a Gram Negative Residual Efficacy Index of greater than about 0.3, and where the antimicrobial cleaning composition that is removed by rinsing has a Softness Index of greater than 0.3. The composition is used in methods to cleanse the skin and to provide residual efficacy against Gram negative bacteria with the use of these products.
