Abstract
Se fabrica un segmento de tubería de fibra de vidrio de doble contencion a través de una unica operacion de devanado. El segmento puede estarconstituido por una tubería o un accesorio para canerías. Un tramo de tubería primaria es devanado yenv uelto por una cinta plástica. Luego se aplica unacapa de material permeable sobre el tramo primario encintado. A continuacion una o más capas de cinta plástica son aplicadas sobre la capa de materialpermeable y posteriormente se devana eltramo de tubería secundaria. El conjunto luego es curado, obteniéndose un segmento de tubería de doblecontencion que presenta una corona circular permeable la cual posee un espesor radial de aproximadamente 1 mm. La corona circularpermeable esdefinida por el material permeable ubicado entre los tramos de tubería primaria y secundaria. El material permeable permite el desplazamiento defluidos en el interior de la corona circular. Dentro del espacio anular es posibledevana r en espiral un par de alambres, los cuales podrán serutilizados con el fin de detectar fugas provenientes del tramo de tubería primaria dentro de la corona circular, monitoreando los cambios en lacapacitancia o resistencia entre dichosalambre s.
