Abstract
El presente procedimiento tiene por objeto la fusión de una carga en hornos, en especial hornos eléctricos para la fusión de chatarra para laproducción de acero, mediante el aporte de energía de fusión a la carga y con la post-combustión delos humos mediante la inyección de un gas oxigenado en elespacio del horno situado por arriba de la carga. Se inyecta el gas oxigenado en la forma de varios chorros cada uno de los cuales tiene un caudalcomprendido entre 50 y 1200 Nm3/h aproximadamente y una velocidad a la salida de los inyectores (11, 12) comprendida entre 10 y 150 m/s, aproximadamente.
