Abstract
Una composicion antitranspirante en emulsion adecuada para la plicacion topica sobre la piel humana en forma de barra, que comprende un material activoantitranspirante, agua, una fase hidrofoba, un emulsionante y etanol, comprendiendo como mínimo el 10% en peso de la composicion de etanol; y el usode la composicion antitrasnpirante para refrescar la piel. El emulsionante, preferentemente, está presente en la composicion a un nivel comprendido entreel 0,1 y 10%, si bien la cantidad excta puede variar de acuerdo con los demás componentes de la composicion. El emulsionante puede ser cualquier emulsionanteadecuado, si bien se prefiere que sea un emulsionante de agua en aceite, y con un valor HLB de menos de 8. La Fase hidrofoba puede estar presente a un nivelcomprendido entre 2 y el 30% en peso, más preferentemente entre el 10 y el 25% en peso de la composicion. El material activo antitraspirante estará presentehabitualmente en la composicion a un nivel de 10% en pesoo más, a los fines de proveer un beneficio antitraspirante. La composicion comprende igualmente agua,que típicamente puede estar presente en la composicion a un nivel comprendido ewntre el 5 y 60% en peso.An emulsion antiperspirant composition suitable for topical application to human skin in the form of a stick, comprising an antiperspirant active material, water, a hydrophobic phase, an emulsifier and ethanol, comprising at least 10% by weight of the ethanol composition; and the use of the antiperspirant composition to refresh the skin. The emulsifier is preferably present in the composition at a level between 0.1 and 10%, although the exact amount may vary according to the other components of the composition. The emulsifier can be any suitable emulsifier, although it is preferred that it be a water-in-oil emulsifier, and with an HLB value of less than 8. The hydrophobic phase can be present at a level of between 2 and 30% by weight, more preferably between 10 and 25% by weight of the composition. The antiperspirant active material will customarily be present in the composition at a level of 10% by weight or more, in order to provide an antiperspirant benefit. The composition also comprises water, which can typically be present in the composition at a level of between 5 and 60% by weight.
