Abstract
Las propiedades de las matrices de cemento son mejoradas por medio de uno o más de los tres procesos que pueden ser realizados en forma individual,secuencial, o en cualquier combinación deseada. En cada caso se hace fluir un fluido supercríticoq ue comprende por lo menos una sustancia distinta de CO2dentro de la matriz, y la matriz es puesta en contacto por la sustancia con el objeto de intercambiar, por ejemplo, mediante reacción química, sus componentesentre sí. Alternativamente, elfluid o supercrítico puede ser utilizado como solvente, por sí mismo o combinado con un solvente que puede a su vez ser o nosupercrítico, y el fluído resultante es infundido en la matriz para conducir y depositar el material disuelto en elinterior de la matriz. Este paso puederepetirse con otro fluido supercrítico que contiene el reactivo para el material disuelto de manera que, luego de la infusión del segundo fluídosupercrítico, el material depositado inicialmente y elreactivo reaccio nan para proveer una matriz con las características deseadas. En una tercera alternativael material supercrítico comprende un solvente que a su vez puede o no ser supercrítico y que , al ser infundido dentro de los pasajes dela matriz,disuelve un material seleccionado que puede entonces ser conducido hacia afuera de la matriz.
