Abstract
Se refiere a la acarviosil-transferasa de Actinomicetes, principalmente de especies Actinoplanetes SE50/110 y sus mutantes, un procedimiento parala transformación de componentes menores de acarbosa, a la expresión de la acarviosil-transferasa en un organismo hospedador heterólogo, al uso de laacarviosil-transferasa para la transformación de componentes derivados de acarbosa en acarbosa o bien para la producción de homólogos de la acarbosa,al uso de la acarviosil-transferasa en lapurificación de acarbosa, así como a la obtención de mutantes productivos con formación de componentesderivados reducida mediante inactivación del gen de la acarviosil-transferasa.
