Abstract

Se presenta un envase para mantener una atmósfera modificada alrededor del contenido allí depositado cuando se encuentra almacenado en un medioambiente. El envase de atmósfera modificada incluye una bandeja y un miembro estructural. La bandejapr esenta una base y paredes laterales que se extiendenhacia arriba desde la base. Las paredes laterales y la base definen una cavidad donde se coloca el contenido. Una membrana se encuentra unida a unaporción superior de las paredeslaterales y cierra la cavidad. El miembro estructural está unido a la porción superior de las paredes laterales de modoque se pueda desmontar y está dispuesto sobre la membrana para evitar que ésta esté en contacto con una estructura externaque inhiba l a penetración a travésde la membrana. El miembro estructural presenta además por lo menos una abertura de modo que la membrana quede expuesta al medio ambiente. Los mediosde apilamiento dispuestos en la base de la bandeja y enla parte superi or del miembro estructural permiten que los envases de atmósfera modificada se apilencon facilidad. También se muestra un envase de entorno ventilado muy similar al envase de atmósfera modificada con la salvedad de que carece demembranapermeable y de que la bandeja presenta por lo menos una abertura en la base. Esta abertura en la tapa se puede alinear por lo menos parcialmente con laabertura de la base de la bandeja y quedar al mismo tiempo expuesta al medioambiente cuando se apilan d os envases de entorno ventilado. Las tapasutilizadas en el envase de entorno ventilado y el entorno de atmósfera modificada se pueden intercambiar.
