Abstract
The invention relates to a fastening device (1) and to a method for attaching a fastening device (1) to at least one component (2), the fastening device (1) consisting of either a bolt (23) or threaded rod (not shown), at least one fastening element (4), and at least one positive engagement connection. The bolt (23) has a longitudinal axis (17), a head (15), a thread (25) and an end facing away from the head (15) with at least one nut (5). At least one fastening element (4) is arranged between the head (15) of the bolt (23) and the nut (5), and has a bore hole (8) for the thread (25) of the bolt (23). The alternative threaded rod (not shown) has a longitudinal axis, a thread and at least two nuts on the ends. At least one fastening element (4) is arranged between the nuts, and has a bore hole (8) for the thread of the threaded rod. The bolt (23) or the threaded rod (not shown) is connected to at least one fastening element (4) by at least one positive-engagement connection, which is a slot-and-key connection consisting of a slot (24) and at least one key corresponding to the slot. The at least one slot is arranged at least partially at an angle to the longitudinal axis (17) of the bolt (23) or threaded rod. Fastening devices may experience slippage or misalignment of the fastening elements during installation. The invention incorporates a positive-engagement connection between the bolt or threaded rod and the fastening element.
