Abstract
Disclosed herein is a method (10) for deoxygenating treated biomass-derived pyrolysis oil, comprising the step of: exposing the treated biomass-derived pyrolysis oil to a catalyst having a neutral catalyst support (300), preferably selected from a carbon support, a non-alumina metal oxide support, or a support comprising a combination of carbon and non-alumina metal oxide.
