Abstract

A capsule and a method of forming a capsule from a metal sheet, is disclosed. The capsule comprises a body section having an open topped cavity or pocket with a surrounding flange and a lid, which engages the surrounding flange of the body section to seal closed the capsule. The area of the lid which is in contact with the flange is adhered to the flange to seal closed the cavity or pocket, and one or more non-intersecting indentations are formed in the lid and underlying flange to enhance the sealing of the capsule.
