Abstract

Compounds of formula (I), where R represents: An alkyl radical; A benzyl radical optionally substituted by alkyl, alkenyl, alkenyloxy, alkadienyl, methylenedioxy and halogen; or A group of formula (II)-(XIII); Or R represents a pyridinyl, furanyl, thiophenyl, oxazolyl or thiazolyl radical. Also described are pesticide compositions comprising at least one compound of formula (I). The compound of formula (I) is useful in animal health or for controlling endo- and ectoparasites. Also described is a method of controlling harmful insects, acarids and nematodes, which comprises administering the compound of formula (I) to these harmful insects, acarids or nematodes, or to the plants, areas or substrates infected with them; with the proviso that the method is not a method for the medical treatment of human beings. Also described is a seed that is treated or coated with an effective amount of a compound of the formula (I).
