A long-life polymeric packaging containing a fruit and/or vegetable beverage, and consisting of a single layer of methyl acrylate-acrylonitrile-butadiene terpolymer, is disclosed. A method for controlling the spoilage of fruit and/or vegetable beverages in a polymeric packaging, characterised in that said packaging consists of a single layer of methyl acrylate-acrylonitrile-butadiene terpolymer, is also disclosed.
