Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av et biologisk aktivt og korrekt foldet protein i nærvær av denatureringsmidler som urea eller guanidinhydro-klorid og separasjon av det korrekt foldede proteinet direkte derfra. Fremgangsmåten kan f.eks. anvendes ved renaturering av rekombinante proteiner som hirudln eller epidermisk vekstfaktor.A method is described for producing a biologically active and correctly folded protein in the presence of denaturants such as urea or guanidine hydrochloride and separating the correctly folded protein directly therefrom. The procedure can e.g. used in the renaturation of recombinant proteins such as hirudln or epidermal growth factor.
