Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en angioplastisk anordning (10) som er utformet av et hult metallisk rør (20) , en ballong (30) som er festet nær den distale ende av røret (20) og som er i fluidumforbindelse med åpningen (22) i røret 20), et fleksibelt distalt segment forbundet med den distale ende av røret, og en avtagbar muffe (40) forbundet nær den proksimale ende av røret (20) . Røret (20) er fortrinnsvis utformet av et superelastisk materiale så som en nikkel-titan- legering. Oppfinnelsen angår også forskjellige fremgangsmåter for å bruke denne angioplastiske anordning (10).
