Abstract
Materiale for et selv-frigjørende bindemiddel-materiale egnet for fremstilling av en komposittartikkel fremstilt ved at minst (1) en polyisocyanat-forbindelse, (2) en forbindelse med en av formlene (I), (II), (III), i en mengde på fra ca. l til ca. 20 deler pr. 100 vektdeler av polyisocyanat-forbin- delsen, hvor X er oksygen eller svovel, R er hydrokarbyl . eller hydrokarbyl inneholdende en eter- eller estergruppe, og i kan være syklisk, og R' er R, H eller en acyl-, karbamoyl-, fosforyl- eller sulfonylgruppe; og (3) en polyeter-holdig : forbindelse, bringes i kontakt med hverandre, med følgende forbehold: (i) hvor den polyeter-holdige forbindelse ikke inneholder noe aktivt hydrogen, den polyeter-holdige forbin- delse er tilstede i en mengde på fra ca. l til ca. 2000 deler pr. 100 deler, på vektbasis, av polyisocyanatet; og (ii) hvor den polyeter-holdige forbindelse inneholder minst ett aktivt ' hydrogenatom, den polyeter-holdige forbindelse er tilstede i slik mengde at OH:NCO-ekvivalensforholdet, når det gjelder forbindelser med formel (I), er mindre enn ca. 0,77:1,00; når det gjelder forbindelser med formel (II), er OH:NCO-ekvi- valensforholdet mindre enn ca. 0,25:1,00; og når det gjelder forbindelser med formel (III) , er OH:NCO-ekvivalensforholdet mindre enn ca. 0,10:1,00; under reaksjonsbetingelser som er tilstrekkelige til dannelse av et bindemiddel-materiale. Dette materiale gir utmerket tilhefting av partiklene, mens det på samme tid fås lett og pålitelig frigjørbarhet fra man- ge forskjellige metalloverflater.Material for a self-releasing binder material suitable for preparing a composite article made by at least (1) a polyisocyanate compound, (2) a compound of one of the formulas (I), (II), (III), in a amount of approx. 1 to approx. 20 parts per 100 parts by weight of the polyisocyanate compound, where X is oxygen or sulfur, R is hydrocarbyl. or hydrocarbyl containing an ether or ester group and may be cyclic and R 'is R, H or an acyl, carbamoyl, phosphoryl or sulfonyl group; and (3) a polyether-containing compound is contacted with the following provisos: (i) where the polyether-containing compound contains no active hydrogen, the polyether-containing compound is present in an amount of from about. 1 to approx. 2000 parts per 100 parts, by weight, of the polyisocyanate; and (ii) wherein the polyether-containing compound contains at least one active hydrogen atom, the polyether-containing compound is present in an amount such that the OH: NCO equivalence ratio, for compounds of formula (I), is less than ca. 0.77: 1.00; in the case of compounds of formula (II), the OH: NCO equivalence ratio is less than ca. 0.25: 1.00; and in the case of compounds of formula (III), the OH: NCO equivalence ratio is less than ca. 0.10: 1.00; under reaction conditions sufficient to form a binder material. The components constituting the self-releasing binder material can be applied to substrate particles, such as for eczema; pellets may be cellulose particles, polymer particles, inorganic or similar particles, or combinations thereof. This material provides excellent adhesion of the particles, while at the same time obtaining easy and reliable releasability from many different metal surfaces.
