Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører besemte nye amid-deri- vater som er pyrido[3,4-b]indol-2-ylacetamider med formel (I) som er inhibitorer for human leukocytt elastase (HLE), også kjent som human neutrbfil elastase (HNE) som gjør dem anvende- lige når slik inhibering er ønsket, f.eks. forskningsverktøy i farmakologiske, diagnostiske og beslektede studier og ved behandling av sykdommer hos pattedyr hvor HLE inngår. Opp- finnnelsen omfatter også mellomprodukter som kan anvendes ved syntese av disse amid-derivater, fremgangsmåter for fremstil- ling av amid-derivatene, farmasøytiske preparater som innehol- der slike amid-derivater og fremgangsmåter for deres anvendelse.The present invention relates to novel novel amide derivatives which are pyrido [3,4-b] indol-2-ylacetamides of formula (I) which are inhibitors of human leukocyte elastase (HLE), also known as human neutrophil elastase (HNE). which makes them useful when such inhibition is desired, e.g. research tools in pharmacological, diagnostic and related studies and in the treatment of mammalian diseases where HLE is included. The invention also includes intermediates which can be used in the synthesis of these amide derivatives, processes for preparing the amide derivatives, pharmaceutical compositions containing such amide derivatives and methods for their use.
