Abstract

Det blir beskrevet en fremgangmsåte for fremstilling av en høytemperatur-supraleder og formlegemer som er dannet av denne, som består av oksyder av vismut, strontium, kalsium, kobber og eventuelt bly såvel som sulfater av strontium og/eller barium, hvor man blander oksyder av vismut, strontium, kalsium, kobber og eventuelt bly l ønskede molare forhold foruten tilsetning av 2 til 30 vekt-* strontiumsulfat og/eller l til 20 vekt-* bariumsulfat, alltid beregnet av blandingen av oksyder, blander dem grundig med hverandre, hvorpå man smelter blandingen i en digel av et platinametall ved temperaturer fra 870 til 1600'C, støper smelten i kokiller av ønsket form og størrelse, og lar dem langsomt stivne før de dannede formlegemene frigjøres for kokillmaterialet og glødes i 6 til 200 timer ved temperaturer fra 700 til 900'C i oksygen- holdig atmosfære.
