Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører et system for overvåkning av online temperatur for høyspentkabler i luftstrekk, omfattende minst en optisk fiber festet til kabelen, og ovennevnte optiske fiber omfattende av minst ett Bragg-gitter (FBG) med kjente refleksjonskarakteristikker, en lyskilde for transmittering av lys innen et kjent område av bølgelengder inn i ovennevnte optiske fiber, og måleanordninger for deteksjon av lys reflektert fra ovennevnte Bragg-gitter(e) i fiberen og for gjenkjennelse av lys reflektert fra hvert Bragg-gitter basert på deres kjente refleksjonskarakteristikker og deres unike samsvar med temperatur for Bragg-gitteret. Bragg-gitteret er montert i en probe, der proben er montert i og termisk koblet til et hylster (7) som blir montert på og termisk koblet til kabelen (21), hvori proben har en sylindrisk form og er montert i hylsteret i en åpning (9) som hovedsakelig har det samme tverrsnittet som proben, men en lengde som overskrider lengden til proben, for slik å muliggjøre innbyrdes variasjoner i temperaturene mellom proben og hylsteret uten å utsette Bragg-gitteret for belastning.
