Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører et system for overvåkning av online temperatur for høyspentkabler i luftstrekk, omfattende minst en optisk fiber festet til kabelen, og ovennevnte optiske fiber omfattende av minst ett Bragg-gitter (FBG) med kjente refleksjonskarakteristikker, en lyskilde for transmittering av lys innen et kjent område av bølgelengder inn i ovennevnte optiske fiber, og måleanordninger for deteksjon av lys reflektert fra ovennevnte Bragg-gitter(e) i fiberen og for gjenkjennelse av lys reflektert fra hvert Bragg-gitter basert på deres kjente refleksjonskarakteristikker og deres unike samsvar med temperatur for Bragg-gitteret.
