Abstract
Et syklonflotasjonssystem kan brukes til å separere olje, fett, faststoffer og annet suspendert stoff fra produsert vann ved hjelp av en kombinasjon av flotasjon og sentrifugering i en separatorsyklon. Syklonflotasjonssystemet har høyere kapasitet / vertikalprojeksjons-forhold sammenlignet med konvensjonelle anordninger, noe som resulterer i redusert vekt og pris. Systemet er bevegelsesuavhengig og egnet for bruk på flytende konstruksjoner slik som offshore-plattformer og skip.
