Abstract

Tilførsel av vannløselige friksjonstapsreduserende polymerer med relativt lav molekylvekt til et vandig fluid fortykket med en viskoelastisk surfaktant (VES) øker det kritiske generaliserte Reynoldstallet hvor Fannings friksjonsfaktor øker, og friksjonstrykket begynner å øke raskt. De vannløselige polymere friksjonstaps-reduserende additivene senker pumpetrykket på overflaten for VES-fortykkede fraktureringsfluider for en gitt pumperate, og derved kravene til hydraulisk effekt for pumping av fluider ned i brønnhull, f eks for hydraulisk frakturerings- eller frakpakkingsbehandling av underjordiske formasjoner.
