Abstract
Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte for oppmaling av minst et mineralmateriale i nærvær av ceria (CeO2) inneholdende zirkoniumoksid oppmalingsmateriale med et spesifikt ceriainnhold (på mellom 14 og 20 vekt-% beregnet på den totale vekt av kulen, særlig mellom 15 og 18% og spesielt rundt 16%, videre en spesifikk kornstørrelse på mindre enn 1 µm og særlig mindre enn 0,5 µm, og spesielt mindre enn 0,3 µm, der kulene er mer resistente mot slitasje enn konvensjonelle kuler ifølge den kjente teknikk. Nok en gjenstand for oppfinnelsen ligger i det oppmalte materialet i form av en vandig suspensjon og i form av et tørrprodukt. Nok et formål ved oppfinnelsen ligger i bruken av slike produkter i en hvilken som helst sektor som utnytter bruken av mineralmaterialer og særlig når det gjelder papir- og malings- og plastindustrien.
