Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en dampkjel (1) som tørker, antenner og forbrenner avfall og fremstiller damp (2, 2a) ved varmeveksling med avgassene (3), hvor dampkjelen (1) omfatter et separatorelement (4) og en sluttoverheter (8), hvor separatorelementet (4) er utformet for å separere avgassene (3) inn i strømmer av en mindre korrosiv gasstrøm (6) og en mer korrosiv gasstrøm (7), hvor separatorelementet (4) er plassert i hovedsak i, og langsmed, hovedstrømningsretningen (5), hvor sluttoverheteren (8) er plassert i nærheten av separatorelementet (4) og strømmen (6) med mindre korrosiv gass. Separatorelementet (4) omfatter en plate (4a) eller en vegg (4b), som med flere separatorelementer (4) danner en kanal som et annet separatorelement. Dette sørger for økt levetid for sluttoverheteren og tillater at dampkjelen gir høy og effektiv kraftproduksjon.
