Abstract

Stigerør for bruk på offshoreinstallasjoner er satt sammen av flere stigerørsegmenter koplet til hverandre. Hvert stigerørsegment har et sentralt rør med et hus på den ene enden og en tapp eller plugg på den andre enden. Tappen har to sporprofiler som rager langs omkretsen av huset. Huset har også et andre nivå med koplingsorgan festet til og distansert langs omkretsretningen av huset, men på et annet nivå. Det første og andre nivået med koplingsorgan alternerer med hverandre. Hvert av koplingsorganene omfatter en klammer og en skrue for å flytte klammeren til inngrep med en av profilene når skruen roteres.
