Abstract

Et strykejern omfatter en hoveddel (2) og en såleplate (3). Hoveddelen (2) er båret på såleplaten (3) ved hjelp av lateralt ettergivende fjærer (4). Fjærene tillater sideveis bevegelse av såleplaten (3) i forhold til hoveddelen (2). En motor (8) har en aksel (9) som bærer en eksentrisk del (10) som er opptatt inne i en sokkel forsynt i den øvre flate av såleplaten. Dermed vil drift av motoren bevirke at såleplaten utfører orbital oscillerende bevegelse i forhold til hoveddelen, i planet til såleplatens overflate.
