En anordning for redusering av bifangst av sjøfugler eller havskillpadder under fisking innbefatter en fiskekrok (220). og en barriere eller en skjerm (227) montert i en posisjon slik i forhold til fiskekroken (220) at barrieren (227) reduserer eller forhindrer fasthaking av en sjøfugl eller en havskillpadde med fiskekroken eller nedsvelging av kroken av en sjøfugl eller en havskillpadde.
