Abstract

En anordning og en fremgangsmåte for bruk ved offline-oppbygging av borerørseksjoner på borerigger som anvendes ved leting etter og produksjon av olje- og gassreserver er beskrevet. Den beskrevne oppfinnelsen er et rørhåndteringssystem der en seksjon av V-dør-rampen festet til en boreriggstruktur er dreibar slik at én eller flere lengder av borerør kan stilles verlikalt. Ved hjelp av en offlinerørkoblingsmaskin sammen med en offline-borerørklave kan borerøriengdene som holdes vertikalt av rørdreiningshåndtereren ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse, kobles sammen, kobles til ytterligere borerørlengder og plasseres på et racking-system for lagring før de senere blir koblet til borestrengen.
